How does the private QR scanner work?
FreNiMi decodes image pixels in the browser using a locally served QR decoder. Camera access is optional and stops when you leave the page or choose Stop camera. Images, video frames, and decoded content are not uploaded.

No. The scanner keeps the current result in the page only and does not include decoded content in usage events.
