Does cropping permanently delete hidden content?

No. Cropping is a layout operation, not secure redaction. Do not use it to conceal confidential text or images because content outside the visible boundary may still exist in the PDF.

Can I crop white space from a scanned PDF?

Yes. Cropping changes the visible page boundary, so it works for scanned pages as well as digitally created PDFs. Use the preview to confirm that the selected margins do not cut into the scan.

Can I crop only one page?

Yes. Navigate to the page, choose Current page only, and apply the crop. Choose All pages when the same margins should be used throughout the document.

Does cropping reduce PDF file size?
