FreNiMi Tools uses QPDF compiled to WebAssembly to apply or remove real AES-256 PDF encryption entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to FreNiMi — your file and password never leave your device.
This is genuine encryption, not a cosmetic lock: an encrypted PDF cannot be opened by any standard PDF reader without the correct password.
